Another Saturday in Tuckerton

On Saturday, March 21 I again traveled down to One Little Spark in Tuckerton for a crafting class. This time Dawn taught us about beeswax! We also learned how to make our own flowers. There were 11 of us there including five women who came all the way from Philly.

I could only stay for the first creation. You'll have to check out Dawn's blog to find out about what they did after I left.

L-R starting at the top are creations by Kathy, Sharon and myself.

It was a fun time and I loved learning how to do something new. Though, of course, the hard part will be remembering how to do what I've learned!!

Besides this, I also love to shop in the store! I bought some new stamps and more Fun Flock. Can't wait to be able to use them.

When we finally move to TN, I'm gonna miss these special Saturdays spent with Dawn but in the meatime, I'll enjoy as many as I can. Until next time....

God bless and happy creating!

Another Class by Dawn!

Saturday morning I drove now to Tuckerton to meet Dawn at the One Little Spark stamping store. Before the class started we went to the local diner for lunch.

This time she taught a class on ATCs, Gothic Arches, and Moos. Arches I know about, but the ATCs and Moos I've never done. She also taught us some techniques on using alcohol inks. Of course, I forgot to take a picture of our creations.

I had a good time and enjoyed learning new ideas and techniques. I'm looking forward to next month. We will be making Cards for Heroes to send to the troops overseas.

Happy stamping!!

A Fun Day

I had a great day today spent with DD, Dawn. She was the teacher at a cardmaking/technique class at One Little Spark stamping store in Tuckerton. She did a great job and really knows her stuff!!! :-) I'm sure she'll be blogging about the day on her blog, The Chatty Stamper.

Here's Dawn and the other ladies in the class, including Pat, the owner of the shop.

Here is a pic of all the cards we did.

My favorite was the one on the bottom right made with clear plastic and Staz-On ink. It the first time that I've used either one. These were all fairly simple cards (right up my alley!). There was one woman who was totally new to stamping and we told her she would become addicted like most of us who stamp are!!

Way to go, Dawn! I look forward to more classes!
