This is my idea for this sketch.
The "Happy Birthday" is a Hero Arts stamp which was stamped using Stampin' Up ink. The 5 1/2 x 2 1/2 paper is some I've had for a couple years but haven't used until today. It's made using a technique that my daughter, Dawn over at The Chatty Stamper discovered which uses shaving cream and ink.
It's very easy to make. Just put shaving cream in a pan, add a few drops of whatever ink colors you like, swirl it around a bit, put your paper down on the shaving cream (we used heavier weight paper), pull it up, wipe off excess shaving cream, let it dry and there you have it!! We had fun using this technique because no two papers come out the same.

Hmmm, couldn't sleep because you needed to make this card?! I have that happen sometimes, usually I get up in the morning with one on my mind I have to make. It turned out great, I like the colors you used and the shaving cream technique is cool, I need to try that!
What beautiful shaving cream paper! I love the vivid colors. Thanks for the inspiration.
I had so much fun with you this day, we did laugh a lot huh!
This card turned out really well, love how it looks.
Keep up the good work, just not at 1 am!
